Prof. Luís Sá chaired the GHG thematic track oral sessions.
Thematic tracks: Nature-Based Solutions (NBS), Carbon Capture Utilization & Storage (CCUS), Bioenergy with CCS (BECCUS), Greenhouse Gas Technologies (GHG), Advocacy, Electrification (InnovaPower), Decarbonization, and ESG.

ETRI 2023 — Energy Transition Research & Innovation Conference

The 6th edition of the RCGI conference on energy transition research. Three days of keynotes, panels, and short oral sessions covering topics from Brazil’s role in the global energy transition to pathways for achieving net zero. Prof. Luís Sá co-chaired the GHG thematic track with Prof. Emilio Silva.
Highlights included keynotes by Prof. Nigel Brandon (Imperial College London) on electrochemical technology for low-carbon transition, Ambassador André Correa do Lago on Brazilian NDCs, and Prof. Carlos Nobre on fighting Amazon deforestation.
