2025 — Undergraduate student L. E. S. Silva presents at the 33rd SIICUSP (USP Scientific Initiation Symposium): "Aprimoramento da Válvula Unidirecional do Ventilador Inspire", co-supervised with Prof. R. G. Lima.

2025 — Three new journal papers published: pressure loads with finite deformation (IJMS), fiber orientation in brittle materials (Composite Structures), and multilayered PEM fuel cell optimization (IJNMHFF).

Mar 2025 — New paper published: "A multi-objective function for discrete topology optimization in labyrinth seal design problems" in Advances in Engineering Software.

Jan 2025 — Experimental labyrinth seal paper published in Review of Scientific Instruments — first experimental validation of topology-optimized seal designs with 3D-printed prototypes.

Nov 2024 — 🏆 Best Oral Presentation Award at ETRI 2024 for "Experimental Study of Labyrinth Seal Designed by Topology Optimization" by Lucas Ribeiro, presented at the GHG thematic track.

Nov 2024 — Prof. Sá chaired the GHG thematic track oral sessions at ETRI 2024 — Energy Transition Research & Innovation Conference, São Paulo.

Dec 2024 — Two new journal papers: SOFC channel layout design (SMO) and labyrinth seal design under compressible turbulent flow (CMWA).

May 2024 — New paper: "Topology optimization of radial flow field PEM fuel cells for enhancing water management" published in Structural and Multidisciplinary Optimization.
